2022 is a critical year for our university to apply for the master's degree program. The Ministry of Education's China-foreign cooperative education program forms an important part of the application materials. In the first half of this year, our university completed the application and document supplementation for the the undergraduate education program of the major of architecture jointly held by Zhejiang Shuren University and Universidad Catolica San Antonio De Murcia, Murcia, Spain. Recently, in order to positively prepare for the defense of the program, President Li Lu, Vice President Chen Xinmin, and Chen Zhi, Executive Deputy Director of Academic Committee of our university led the staff from relevant functional departments and the School of Urban Construction to Zhejiang International Studies University to study the successful experiences of the application and operation of China-foreign cooperative education programs.

President Hong Gang and Vice President Chai Gaiying of Zhejiang International Studies University together with heads of relevant departments had a meeting with the team.

The meeting was chaired by Principal Hong Gang. He introduced the development of Zhejiang International Studies University and hoped that both parties could strengthen communication between universities, support each other and advance hand in hand with the concept of opening for university development.

Vice President Chai Gaiying shared the experience and feelings about the defense during the application process of China-foreign cooperative education programs, and gave specific suggestions for application and operation of the programs.

At the meeting, both parties had in-depth exchanges on the preparation for replies, curriculum setting, construction of teaching staff, integration of training programs and other aspects of China-foreign cooperative education programs.

Our President Li Lu made a concluding speech. He expressed appreciation for the internationalization construction of Zhejiang International Studies University in the strategic layout of "three areas and four regions", and put forward some ideas for the cooperation between both universities on the application for the master’s degree programs in the next step. President Li said that our university must be unified in thinking, adhere to the principle of opening to the outside world, and take China-foreign Cooperative Education Program as an opportunity to improve the education quality and discipline level of our university in an all-round way.
