Our journey has been one marked by resilience and continuous growth, navigating through challenges with unwavering spirit and achieving boundless brilliance. Since its humble beginnings in 1984, our university now offers ten undergraduate programs and four associate degree’s programs. We are privileged to have over 100 outstanding educators passionate about research and teaching, guiding more than 4,200 enthusiastic students. From its very beginning, with nothing but ambition, Zhejiang Shuren University has transformed into an institution owning well-equipped teaching and research facilities, surrounded by lush green lawns and vibrant flowers. We steadfastly uphold Shuren University’s motto of “Nurturing Talents with Wisdom and Virtue”. We ardently carry forward Shuren Spirit: “Striving Through Hardship, Practicing Innovation, and Dedicating with Devotion”. And we tirelessly fulfill the founding aspiration and mission of Shuren University: “Fostering Virtue through Education and Nurturing Talents for the Nation”. Now, with the torch passed on from our predecessors, we embark on a new chapter, moving forward with determination toward a brighter future.
The School of Economics and Management is committed to refining its academic focus, enhancing professional competencies, strengthening research capacity, and elevating the overall quality of education. Both management and economics are dynamically evolving disciplines. As global socioeconomic development ushers into the digital era, it is imperative that our research and teaching development reflect and actively address the pervasive digitalization. Concurrently, our society has been characterized by both a highly specialized division of labor and extensive collaboration. Consequently, our research and teaching in different fields and specialties need to transform towards integration. Furthermore, the burgeoning success of the Belt and Road Initiative guides our academic pursuits to further accelerate towards internationalization. Our faculty and students must embody a highly professional caliber, brave enough to shoulder the mission of the future, willing to work hard, capable of working smartly, understanding practical work, full of innovative wisdom and entrepreneurial spirit, and possessing a broad international outlook.
From here, we set forth again, heading towards the course of the Red Boat on the South Lake, shouldering the expectations of the Republic of China and forging a more brilliant future!
