Our University Successfully Held the Third Young Scholars Innovation Forum
On June 30th, the Third Young Scholars Innovation Forum of Zhejiang Shuren University was held at the Gongchenqiao Campus in Hangzhou. President Li Lu attended the main forum and delivered a speech. The main leaders of relevant colleges and schools, teacher representatives and more than 100 young scholars attended this forum online and offline. Vice President Chen Jun presided over the meeting.
The main forum was held in the morning. In the speech, President Li Lu expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all young scholars for their attendance, and emphatically introduced the history and the talent strategies of our university, which were to insist on establishing the attraction mechanism for overseas talents, the incentive mechanism for existing talents, and the training mechanism of future talents, and to strive to build an excellent team of teachers and talents led by leading talents, with young and middle-aged academic leaders as the backbone, and young core teachers as the fresh force. President Li also pointed out that, the university should create a good talent ecology, create high-quality working and living conditions, so that young talents would have more sense of achievement and happiness, and he sincerely invited young scholars to join Shuren University to create a better future together.
And then the procedures such as the signing ceremony of introduced talents and the group photos of attendees were also carried on in the main forum. The Office of Human Resources introduced the policies of attracting talents of our university, and invited 5 scholars inside and outside the university to make topic reports on their respective research directions and achievements.
In the afternoon, scholars respectively visited the five sub-forums of economic management, medicine, engineering and information technology, biology and environment, humanities and art design, and basic sciences to exchange scientific research ideas with leaders and core teachers of our colleges and schools, and to have in-depth communication and discussion on the construction of discipline platform and personal career development.
Shuren University focuses on its key directions of education development and discipline construction, attracts talents from all over the world, and has held the Third Young Scholars Innovation Forum for three times, gradually establishes a talent attraction brand with the characteristics of non-government funded university, and provides a high-quality exchange platform for the university to gather high-level young talents.
