The discipline of Public Administration is recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial First-Class Discipline, while the program of Public Affairs Management holds the distinction of being a Zhejiang Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Program. Currently, it has secured over 10 significant projects, including provincial first-class courses, the Industry-Education Collaborative Education initiatives of the Ministry of Education, provincial teaching reform projects, and the Industry-Education Integration Textbook Development project. And there are jointly established key platforms such as the Zhejiang “Integrated Medical Service-Healthcare-Nursing-Management Talent Training Base” and the Qicai Shuren Future Community Operation Management College, further demonstrating its industry-academia integration. In recognition of educational excellence, the faculty of the program won the First Prize in the Zhejiang Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards in 2016. Additionally, its innovative reform initiative, “Application-Oriented Talent Cultivation Model Featuring Industry-Education Cooperation and Stage Advancement”, was honored with the Second Prize in the 2022 Zhejiang Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards.

The program of Public Affairs Management currently has 15 full-time faculty members and 149 full-time students, reaching a favorable student-to-faculty ratio of 10:1. Among the faculty, 4 hold senior professional titles, 5 are associate professors, and 6 hold intermediate-level titles. Notably, 57.1% of the faculty have international academic or professional experience, 64.2% of them are under the age of 40, and 93% hold doctoral degrees. This highly qualified teaching team provides robust support for the high-quality development of the program.
