Zhejiang “Xingtu Cup” the 17^thCollege Student Structural Design Contest and the Zhejiang Zone Contest of National College Student Structural Design Contestwas held in Zhejiang Institute of Tongji University during May 11-13, 2018, and totally 100 teams from 48 universities and colleges such as Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Ningbo University participated in the contest. Two representative teams were dispatched by our university, which were led by Yao Jian, dean of Schoolof Urban Construction. With common guidance from two advisors of the Civil Engineering Specialty, i.e., ShenHua and Lou Danfeng, the work ofSeven SevenSevenSevenby Xu Tie, Shao Yinxi and Zhao Jiahao won the special prize for the first time, andJiejiegaofeiby Fan Nianke, QianLingjie and Wang Rongren won the best creative prize and the third prize.
