Andreev Andrey, the Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai, Ryabtsev Yevgeny, Counselor of the Embassy of Belarus in China Visited Our University

On October 25th, Andreev Andrey, the Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai, Ryabtsev Yevgeny, Counselor of the Embassy of Belarus in China and his wife Ryabtseva Tatyana visited the university and attended the academic seminar “the Domestic Situation and Foreign Relations of Belarus in 2024” hosted by the Belarus Center for National and Regional Studies and the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages of the university. At the seminar, the attendees had an in-depth discussion on the topics of promoting the communication and exchange of Chinese and Belarusian students, the training of economic and trade talents of China and Belarus, and the establishment of China-Belarus enterprise exchange platforms.

President Li Lu cordially met and exchanged views with the guests. The visit of the Consul General Andreev Andrey and other guests reflects the great importance and support of the Belarusian government for the China-Belarus exchanges of our university. Mr. Li Lu reviewed the achievements of cooperation between Shuren University and Belarus in various fields. Mr. Ye Shiping, Vice President of the university, introduced the achievements of scientific cooperation.

The Consul General Andreev Andrey thanked President Li Lu very much for the invitation and congratulated our university for the achievements made in cooperation with the Belarusian organizations. He said that China and Belarus had friendly relations, which further consolidated under the concern and promotion of the leaders of both countries, realizing a comprehensive strategic partnership. The cooperation between Shuren University and Belarus in various fields is the cornerstone of the implementation of the China-Belarus cooperation strategies. He expressed his full assistance and support for our communication and exchange with Belarus and warmly congratulated us on the 40th anniversary of the founding of the university.
