Professor Tokhi from London South Bank University Invited to Give a Special Lecture at Our University

On the afternoon of July 22, Professor Mohammad Osman Tokhi, Dean of the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering of London South Bank University and an internationally renowned scholar, visited our university at the invitation of the Jiayang Academy. He delivered a special lecture titled “Discussion on Key Technologies and Industry Applications of Service Robots.”

Professor Tokhi shared the latest research findings in the fields of service robots and mechatronics equipment, emphasizing the wide-ranging applications of robotic technology in the fields such as intelligent manufacturing and national defense. He demonstrated innovative breakthroughs in robot structure, drive and control, and system integration. He particularly highlighted the importance of integrated development of industry, university and research, sharing his work experience of working on the integrated research platform for Toyota’s rehabilitation exoskeleton robots in Japan, as well as strategies for promoting the industrialization of industrial robots and automated production lines, along with the demonstration applications of rehabilitation robots.
