President Li Lu Met with the Expert Team Represented by Prof. Alexander Tuzikov, Corresponding Academician of Belarus

Recently, Prof. Alexander Tuzikov, Corresponding Academician and Director of the Mathematical Control Research Laboratory of the Joint Institute of Information Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Prof. Alexander Nedzvedz from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of the Belarusian State University, and Associate Prof. Volha Nedzvedz from the Department of Biology of the Belarusian State University, arrived at our university for a 15-day academic exchange visit. During this visit, they will carry out high-end programs of overseas experts and participate in scientific and technological cooperation of the International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Zhejiang Province on Remote Sensing Image Processing and Application.

At the meeting, President Li Lu expressed his warm welcome to Academician Tuzikov and other experts for their visit again. He appreciated the achievements of the cooperation between China and Belarus in recent years. The visit of the experts has further promoted the cooperation between both parties. Li Lu hoped that both parties would focus on new quality productivity and innovation, continue to deepen cooperation in different fields and make more fruitful research achievements.

Academician Tuzikov, on behalf of the expert team, expressed his heartfelt thanks to President Li Lu for arranging the meeting in his busy schedule. He agreed very much with President Li Lu’s opinion and highly appreciated China's support and investment in scientific research deployment, and hoped that both parties would strengthen cooperation through the program for the recruitment of overseas top-notch experts to jointly develop high-end technology.

At the end, both parties discussed the exchange of teachers and scholars for academic communication, as well as the exchange of outstanding students for studying abroad.
