In response to the World Health Organisation and The National Health Commission’s desire to improve society’s awareness of the appropriate usage of antibiotics. Zhejiang University held China’s Action in Restraining Antibiotic Resistance–on a Social Science Perspective Social Science Forum on November 19th and 20th. Leaders of the industry from Peking University, Zhejiang University, Sichuan University, Shandong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Hangzhou Medical Security Administration and Ningbo Disease Control and Prevention Centre gathered together to offer advice to the construction of Health China and China’s Action in Restraining Antibiotic Resistance during the next five years. President Li Lu was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the forum, where he also made a speech.
