The University of Hawaii System (formly University of Hawaii) invited Dr. Li Wei, a teacher of international economy and trade (tea culture) major at Zhejiang Shuren University, and a group of experts from the Tea Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, to travel to Hawaii from July 5 to 15, 2017 to guide local tea enterprises.
Based on the comprehensive investigation of the local climate, soil composition, tea varieties, tea processing machinery and technology, tea brand and local market, the investigation team wrote a Hawaiian tea industry report of more than 20,000 characters, analyzed the current situation of the local tea industry, pointed out the existing problems and put forward suggestions for tea development and brand construction.
