On May 23, 2018, Churchill Roberts, Chairman of the American Documentary Association, postdoctoral professor at the School of Journalism and Communications, University of Florida, and postdoctoral professor at Harvard University and University of Michigan, and postdoctoral professor at the University of Iowa, visited the humanities lecture hall of Zhejiang Shuren University, and delivered a lecture entitled "Storytelling Modes：How Documentary Films are Crafted".

Churchill Roberts combined with several documentaries produced by himself, vividly introduced the various modes and production process of the documentaries, and listened to the lectures of teachers and students from the School of Humanity& Foreign Languages to have a heated discussion and live interaction.
