Since its establishment in 2018, the program of Property Management of Zhejiang Shuren University has made a name for itself in the national and even international property management field with its unique advantages and remarkable development achievements. As the only undergraduate-level program of property management in Zhejiang Province, it has been instrumental in cultivating a significant number of highly skilled, application-oriented management and operational talents for the industry.
Adhering to a development philosophy of “being rooted in Hangzhou, based in Zhejiang, and radiating across the Yangtze River Delta”, the program is offered to cultivate property management professionals with an international perspective. By integrating management and engineering principles, our university continuously develops the program, providing students with a solid theoretical foundation and cutting-edge practical skills.
Our university has achieved outstanding results in industry collaboration and innovation. In 2022, the university established its Smart Property Industry School. This initiative was further recognized in 2023 when the industry school was honored as a “2023 Digital Application Demonstration Base” by the China Communications Industry Association, placing it among only 15 enterprises and institutions nationwide, including industry giants like Tencent and Huawei. This prestigious recognition signifies that the university has been authoritatively recognized by its exploration and practical achievements in smart property management. In 2023, Shuren University initiated the establishment of the “Chinese University Alliance for Property Management Talent Cultivation” and currently serves as its President and Secretary-General. This allows the university to guide the development direction of property management education across universities nationwide, fostering a high-end platform for nurturing future industry leaders.
In 2024, the program of Property Management of our university achieved significant international recognition by receiving the CIH (Chartered Institute of Housing, 1916) international professional accreditation. This achievement marks not only a strong affirmation of our program’s quality and development achievements but also provides substantial support for our students as they engage in the property management industry internationally. In terms of international exchange and cooperation, the university has consistently hosted the “Property Management and Grassroots Governance” International Conference and the International Curriculum System Teaching Seminar for the Program of Property Management, further advancing the internationalization of our professional education.
