On June 19, 2022, the final of "The First Zhejiang Home Economics Industry-Education Integration Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" was successfully held in Zhejiang Shuren University.As the first and the only university of establishing the undergraduate program of home economics in Zhejiang and the Chairman Organization of Zhejiang Provincial Home Economics Service Industry Alliance of Integration of Industry and Education, Zhejiang Shuren University proposed to establish the Zhejiang Home Economics Industry-Education Integration Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which has received positive responses from all organizer, co-organizers, universities and enterprises inside and outside the province. With the support of all sectors of society, the firstZhejiang Home Economics Industry-Education Integration Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held.

Chen Xinmin, Executive Director of Zhejiang Provincial Home Economics Service Industry Alliance of Integration of Industry and Education and Vice President of Zhejiang Shuren University, attended the meeting and delivered a warm speech. Zhang Hongyang, president of China-Philippines Home Economics School, and Shen Yongsheng, General Manager of Zhejiang Daily Digital Culture Group Hangzhou City Brain Co., Ltd., delivered speeches on behalf of the organizers. Yu Lijun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of NingBo College of Health Sciences, Xu Langjing, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Quzhou College of Technology, and Zheng Tiehao, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Zhejiang Dongfang Polytechnic, as well as other leaders of the co-organizers attended the opening ceremony of the final through delivering online speeches. Zhu Hongying, Secretary General of Zhejiang Provincial Home Economics Service Industry Alliance of Integration of Industry and Education, Executive Director of Zhejiang Modern Service Research Center, and Executive Director of Modern Service Research Institute of Zhejiang Shuren University, presided over the opening ceremony. 27 teams of finalists from universities and colleges across the country participated in the opening ceremony online and offline.

The theme of this competition was "Smart Home Services, a Better Life", which is open to students of various majors from all universities and secondary and technical colleges in and outside the province. After three months of fierce competition, 27 teams were respectively shortlisted for the finals of the two categories. The final of the category of entrepreneurial design was held in the form of "PPT roadshow + defense", and the final of the category of scenario simulation adopted the form of "scene simulation video demonstration + defense", to display their works by centering on the dimensions of digital intelligence, innovation, team, business, and social value. In the end, 1 first prize winner, 2 second prize winners, 3 third prize winners and several enterprise special awards were evaluated and selected in these two categories respectively.
