Recently, the Fourth Chinese-Belarusian Youth Forum jointly organized by our university and Belarusian State University was successfully held in Hangzhou.
With the theme of "Intelligence, Environment and Health: The Youth's Responsibility, Missions and Duties in the Global-Pandemic Era", this forum was held in the way of combining online and offline meetings. Both domestic and overseas experts and scholars were invited to emphatically discuss the important missions of the educated youth in the process of building a community with a shared future for mankind under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative.
During the forum, the “Intelligent Healthcare Sub-Forum” jointly organized by Zhejiang International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Remote Sensing Image Application, the School of Information Science and Technology of Zhejiang Shuren University and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of Belarusian State University was also held successfully.
The attendees of this sun-forum included Prof. Ye Shiping, Vice President of Zhejiang Shuren University, Prof. Sergey Ablameyko, Academician, Member of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering, Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Professor of Belarusian State University, Prof. Aliaksandr Nedzvedz, Director of the Department of Computer Technology and Systems of Belarusian State University, Nezea Shaker, Associate Professor from the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University, Fang Yinfeng, Associate Professor from the School of Communication Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University, and representatives of teachers and students from peer universities.
The Intelligent Healthcare Sub-Forum was hosted by Dr. Chen Huafeng, Associate Professor of the School of Information Science and Technology of Zhejiang Shuren University. And the Academician Sergey Ablameyko delivered the opening speech for the sub-forum online. He mentioned that, the artificial intelligence technology had been developed rapidly and continuously applied and integrated into various industries. Among them, the medical industry was the field where the artificial intelligence got most widely used, which had accelerated the in-depth development of the intelligent medical industry, brought a new technological revolution to traditional medicine, and promoted the revolutionary transform of research and development of drugs, disease prevention and control, medical diagnosis and hospital operations, and also improved the efficiency and quality of medical services. However, the intelligent healthcare had also overturned people's understanding of traditional medicine, reshaped the original medical system, and been confronted with many challenges. Young scholars from China and Belarus should be actively engaged in the studies on hot and cutting-edge issues in this field. Therefore, the Intelligent Healthcare Sub-Forum built a platform for in-depth exchanges on the issues of shared concern for the young scholars from both countries.
Professor Ye Shiping delivered the speech in this sub-forum offline. He reviewed the communication and cooperation between the School of Information Science and Technology of Zhejiang Shuren University and the universities in Belarus. He said that after nearly 7 years of hard work, both parties had carried out in-depth scientific research cooperation in the field of computer, especially in the directions of intelligent medical image processing and intelligent auxiliary treatment, and achieved fruitful results. The original intention of jointly organizing the Intelligent Healthcare Sub-Forumwas to provide a platform for colleagues engaged in related research to exchange academic issues, research results and work experience through discussions on cutting-edge technical issues in related fields of intelligent healthcare. Mr. Ye Shiping also hoped that through the forum, more young scholars would learn about and participate in the research of intelligent healthcare and make contributions to human health.
In the session of keynote reports of this sub-forum, five young scholars from China and Belarus respectively made excellent reports. Prof. Aliaksandr Nedzvedz, Director of the Department of Computer Technology and Systems of Belarusian State University, focused on “Analysis of Radiologically Isolated Syndrome in Multiple Sclerosis by CT Images”, Fang Yinfeng, Associate Professor from the School of Communication Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University, chose the topic of “sEMG Signal Acquisition, Processing, and Applications”, and Nezea Shaker, Associate Professor from the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University, centered on “Patient's Rights When Using Artificial Intelligence Diagnosis Tools in E-Health”, Dr. Ye Fangfang from the School of Information Science and Technology of Zhejiang Shuren University focused on “Sparse Representation Optimization of Image Gaussian Mixture Features Based on a Convolutional Neural Network”, and Zhang Yang, Postgraduate Student of the School of Information Science and Technology of Zhejiang Shuren University shared the studies on “Security Consensus Algorithm of Medical Data Based on Credit Rating”, and they made wonderful academic reports respectively.
