In order to improve the employability of veterans, the Keqiao District Veterans Affairs Bureau commissioned School of Continuing Education to carry out vocational skills training for veterans. On May 14, both sides have signed a cooperation agreement. Hu Jianwei welcomed Fu Guoliang and his entourage to the school and briefly introduced the development of the university. Dean Hu pointed out that carrying out education and training is an important function of universities and colleges to serve the society, and it is also a key task of the School of Continuing Education. She addressed that the school will strengthen the construction of skill-cultivated faculties and practical facilities to ensure the quality of training. In the end of the speech, she extended the hope that both parties will actively build a new platform and a new mechanism for cooperation and development, and both sides would further optimize resources, integrate business, carry out all-round cooperation and exchanges, as well as improve the level and quality of cooperation. Fu Guoliang also pointed out that strengthening the skills training of veterans and helping veterans to find employment is a significant task of the government, which is related to national security and social stability. He hopes to use this cooperation as an opportunity to further expand the field of vocational skills training for veterans, and at the same time, to improve the quality of training and strive to create a new job situation for veterans, making greater contributions to the high-quality transformation and the development of Keqiao District.
At the signing ceremony, the two parties had a lively discussion on the types of training skills, syllabus, teaching mode, certificate acquisition, etc., and have reached an agreement in the end.
