Recently, The Ministry of Education officially announced the evaluation results of the 2021 Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project. Dr. Cai Chen - a teacher in ZJSRU English Teaching and Research Department - was awarded with a Youth Fund Project.

A total of 31,488 general research projects in humanities and social sciences were submitted to the Ministry of Education in 2021, with a total of 2,362 projects approved after material review, expert assessment and public announcement - representing an approval rate of 7.5%. A total of three projects at ZJSRU have been approved this year.

In recent years, ZJSRU’s scientific research work has been oriented towards the strategic needs of the country; focused on the academic frontier; constantly refining disciplinary directions; strengthening the construction of scientific research teams; implementing the training of young teachers and a high-level project cultivation program, with the number of young teachers presiding over and participating in high-level projects increasing annually, providing strong guarantees for ZJSRU's talent training, discipline construction and social services.
