The research conference on construction conditions of political education courses of private higher learning institutions and Sino-foreign cooperative universities and colleges organized by Division of Social Science of Ministry of Education was held in an online way in the morning of November 3. The conference was held by Chen Rui, head of Department of Teaching and Publishing. Song Lingyun, deputy director of Division of Social Science of Ministry of Education, attended the conference and made a conclusive speech. Presidents of 12 private higher learning institutions and presidents of 2 Sino-foreign cooperative universities and colleges all over the country attended the conference. Professor Zhou Guangxun from our university was invited to attend the conference and made a speech.

Starting from the development strategy of “private operation of famous university”, Professor Zhou Guangxun introduced the experience and practice of the university in carrying out the “March 18” important speech of the general secretary, implementing the spirit in Opinions on Deepening Reforms and Innovation of Political Education Courses in Schools in the New Era, and construction of political education courses.

Song Lingyun, deputy director of Division of Social Science of Ministry of Education, sufficiently affirmed speech and suggestion from Professor Zhou. According to Song Lingyun, the collected opinions and suggestions will be researched one by one, to take efforts to correct and improve drawbacks of private higher learning institutions and Sino-foreign cooperative education by laying emphasis on strengthening the construction of weak links and facilitating construction of political education courses, so that School of Marxismcan radiate vitality, show new appearance and new atmosphere.
