Lin Huiqing, Chairman of Medical Education Expert Committee of Ministry of Education, a member of the Party group of Ministry of Education and the deputy director of Ministry of Education, went to Shulan Hospital affiliated to Shulan International Medical College in the morning of October 15, 2019. Qiu Jiana, deputy director of General Office of Division of College Students of Ministry of Education, Yu Yongming, a member of the Party committee of Zhejiang Ministry of Education and the deputy director, Deng Jun, deputy director of Department of Higher Education of Zhejiang Ministry of Education and deputy director of Zhejiang Academic Degree Office, Xu Xuqing, the president of the university, Zhang Qing, the secretary of the Party committee of the university, Ye Shiping, the vice-president, Academician Zheng Shusen, president of Shulan International Medical College, Academician Li Lanjuan, a launcher of Shulan Medicine, Ye Zaiyuan, president of Shulan Hospital affiliated to Shulan International Medical College, and Wu Zhangmu, secretary of the Party committee, accompanies with the investigation.

Lin Huiqing and her colleagues visited the medical space, the infectious disease center (clinical teaching center), the liver, gall and pancreas surgery center (surgery demonstration classroom), the endoscope center, the operating room, the intensive care unit and VIP inpatient wards. Lin Huiqing carefully listened to introduction to the affiliated hospital by Academician Zheng Shusen and Academician Li Lanjuan, and carefully observed the software and the hardware facilities, as well as the achievements after the establishment of the medical College. Lin Huiqing and her colleagues also gave thoughtful comfort and interview to students of Shulan International Medical College attending classes.

After that, Lin Huiqing and her colleagues had an informal discussion with party and government leaders of our university and leaders of Shulan Hospital affiliated to Shulan International Medical College. Lin Huiqing wished that Shulan International Medical College would lay emphasis on four aspects, i.e., positioning, mode, teachers and teaching materials. Firstly, it is needed to position in a high standard, to realize ultra-convention development. It is needed to pay attention to elite-oriented cultivation, to position the College as an international top medical college based on the international top hospital of Shulan Hospital. Secondly, it is needed to give full play to the mechanism advantages and manifest discipline features, to innovate the medicine education cultivation mode. Thirdly, it is needed to strengthen teacher cultivation and encourage them to use international medical teaching materials. Lin Huiqin affirmed the establishment of Shulan International Medical College with the cooperation between Shulan Hospital and Zhejiang Shuren University. She was confident and wished that both parties can deepen cooperation to cultivate top medical talents.
