The graduation exhibition is not only an "examination" for every graduate of the School of Art, but also anexpression of the professional knowledge, insight and skills learned over the past four years. Because of the epidemic, the graduation exhibition of ZJSRU School of Art was moved from offline to online, and was exhibited on the School’s WeChat Official Account -Art New World, class by class, major by major. This year's graduation exhibition was displayed on different stages at the North Campus Art Museum as well as on the first and third floors of the Cha Jimin Building, according to the characteristics of the majors, to appreciate the diversity among majors.
On display are representatives of three departments - Industrial Design, Product Design and Film and Animation. The industrial/product design team is an application-oriented major of ZJSRU, which has made qualitative improvement in discipline competitions in recent years, winning the first provincial prizes many times; and the teacher-led team has also obtained many invention patents and a large number of industrial design patents, adding to an excellent teaching team at ZJSRU.
Every year, graduates are admitted to graduate in schools domestically and internationally. The Department of Film, Television and Animation has experienced significant ups and downs, and has since revitalised and reimagined as a major. This year's graduation exhibition - in addition to the standard display at the art gallery - alternates from conventions by screening the video aspects of animation at a public cinema where students' work was professionally exhibited. This screening method is an experiment in students’ outreach and professional development.
