The article ofProblems and Countermeasures for Digital Construction in Commerce and Trade of Our Provinceby teachers of School of Modern Service Industry of our university such as Wu Weifen was reported byJournal of Zhejiang Social Sciencesin 188 of 2020, and acquired affirmative written instructions from Zheng Shanjie, the provincial governor, and Zhu Guoxian, a member of the provincial standing committee and the propaganda minister. The article analyzed the current conditions and problems about digital construction in commerce and trade in our province, and proposed related suggestions to promote digital upgrading in commerce and trade: Firstly, strengthen top-layer design and achieve new infrastructure of digital commerce and trade; secondly, strengthen leadership and expand digital commerce and trade and new retail; thirdly, strengthen demand innovation, and provide new services for digital commerce and trade; fourthly, strengthen supporting services and build the new environments for digital commerce and trade.

The acquisition of the written instructions from provincial leaders was both the result of continuous research of teachers such as Wu Weifen in fields related to digital commerce and trade and the result of the building of the new think tank by our university and School of Modern Service Industry be relying on the Modern Service Industry Research Center for long. It would encourage more teachers to work for research on major practical problems, so as to give full play to roles played by scientific research for social development.
