The “Spring Club Tea Science Cup” the 4thNational Contest of Tea Art Skills for College Students was held in Guangzhou during November 22-25. Totally 242 undergraduates and graduate students from 29 agricultural and forestry universities and colleges or comprehensive universities with agriculture-related specialties participated in the contest. The contest included two groups, i.e., the team group and the individual group, with theoretical and practical contents. Judgment was conducted on theme, teamwork labor division coordination, originality of works, as well as literary accomplishment, protocol quality and tea quality control by taking tea art skills of participants into consideration. It was the tea art skill contest of the highest level in our country. After fierce contest of four days, the “Shan Yu Hai tea art team” of Zhejiang Shuren University won 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 2 third prizes in the contest, ranking the top among the 29 universities and colleges with excellent performance.
