Five Leaders including Professor Ren Tiaojuan, dean of School of Information Science and Technology, and Professor Zhang Denghui, the vice dean, were invited by Huawei to attend Huawei China Ecological Partnership Meeting with the theme of “Intelligent Evolution” in Fuzhou Strait International Conference & Exhibition Center on March 21.

The Huawei China Ecological Meeting of three days was a meeting of ecological cooperation and ecological coordination. Yang Wenchi, BG China Region vice-president of Huawei and dean of Huawei Ecological School, said that the Partnership College was upgraded into Huawei Ecological School. As a new carrier of ICT talent ecology, Huawei Ecological School gathered all ecological parties including governments, enterprises, education institutes as well as partners, covering talent cultivation inschools, employment and improvements after employment. By matching with development and requirements of markets for the whole course, it cultivated the ICT talent supply chain in a end-to-end way. Huawei Ecological School will follow the progress of ICT technologies, to develop talent cultivation business layout based on AI, to work together with universities by establishing big data and AI related courses, to cultivate AI talents in a industry-education-research coordinative way.

As the earliest cooperated Huawei ICTSchoolin Zhejiang and the base for transmission and cultivation of ICT talents for Huawei, our university has provided large amount of talents for ICT. The “Huawei ICT School Cloud Computing Engineering Topic Construction Research” hosted by Professor Ren Tiaojuan was the first industry-education cooperative education project by Ministry of Education connected with Huawei. After research and practice by the project team of one year, the achievements were highly recognized by Huawei, and the project group won the excellent achievement prize of Huawei-industry and education cooperative education project by Ministry of Education.

After exploration in the cooperative education mode for ICT Talents with Huawei Company for nearly 5 years, Huawei ICT School of Zhejiang Shuren University made preliminary achievements in talent cultivation system optimization, joint construction of practice platform, dual-teacher type teaching team joint cultivation and construction of talent employment alliance base. Our university applied for 2 Huawei-Ministry of Education industry-education integration projects in 2018, and won the second prize in Huawei ICT Contest of China Region. In addition, our university cultivated 7 HCIEs and more than 200 talents passed Huawei authentication. Our university won the title of “Excellent Huawei ICTSchool” for the third time in 2019.
