Ren Tiaojuan, dean of School of Information Science and Technology and Technology of our university, was invited to attend the acknowledge meeting of Huawei Zhejiang Ecological Partners and the Prize Presentation of 2019. Huawei Hangzhou office realized the growth of 70% in sales income in 2018, and all revenue items ranked the top than the other provinces. In order to appreciate the powerful support from partners, Huawei held the prize presentation with the theme of “Sailing”.

As the ICT talent transmission and cultivation base of Huawei, our school cultivated more than 200 talents that passed Huawei ICT talent authentication in 2018, and 6 of them acquired the highest expert level authentication of Huawei (HCIE), and 12 of them acquired the senior engineer authentication (HCNP), and the other more than 180 talents acquired Huawei engineer authentication. Three students of our school including Chen Bin participated in Huawei China Region ICT Competition on behalf of Zhejiang competition zone in April and May of 2018, and won the second prize of Cloud Computing & Big Data Competition. Our school undertook the Huawei Talent Selection Meeting of Zhejiang in May 2018, and assisted Huawei to establish Huawei Zhejiang ICT Talent Alliance Council as a deputy director unit, to construct the channel for quick talent cultivation. In order to commend the contributions of our school to talent cultivation for Huawei, Huawei Hangzhou Office granted the best service partner prize to our school, i.e., the Excellent ICT School Prize, to affirm and praise our university in talent cultivation.
