Since Academician Serguy settled in Zhejiang Shuren University and connected with School of Information Science and Technology, the school has responded the request from President Xu Xuqing to deepen cooperation with Belarusian State University, to give full play to the leading role played by Academician Serguy. Professor Alexander, a core member of the team of Academician Serguy and the head of Department of Computer Technology and System of Belarusian State University, was invited to the university for a project recently. By taking the opportunity, School of Information Science and Technology invited Professor Alexander to discuss on affairs about exchange and cooperation between schools. Ren Tiaojuan, the president, Wang Zhangquan, secretary of the Party committee of the school, Zhang Denghui, the deputy dean, Lu Ying, the deputy secretary of the Party committee, and related doctors and professors attended the meeting and received Professor Alexander warmly.

On the conference, Dean Ren Tiaojuan showed welcome to coming of Professor Alexander, and introduced general conditions of the school and the conditions about cooperation and exchange with White Russia, and Dean Ren Tiaojuan expected that they can deepen cooperation and exchange of teachers and students on school layers based on the cooperation led by Academician Serguy. Wang Zhangquan, secretary of the Party committee of the school, introduced the specialty construction conditions in the school, and proposed several opinions and ideas about further exchange and cooperation with Belarusian State University in the future. Professor Alexander introduced the basic conditions of Belarusian State University and Department of Computer Technology and System. After that, both parties developed deep exchange and discussion on aspects of cooperation, exchange, mutual visit, short-term lecturers and project cooperation, with hot and harmonious exchange atmosphere, and primary cooperation intention was reached.

School of Information Science and Technology will cooperate with the “Belt and Road” strategic planning by the country, to seek for effective cooperation mode with Belarusian State University, and will expand the horizon based on new opportunities, to make contributions to connection between specialties of the school and the international society, and the internalized development of the university.
