The work ofIt Is Smiling in Flowering Clusters in the Season of Mountain Flowers in Full Blossoms – Investigation of Existing Conditions of Trash Cans in Public Spaces in Hangzhou and the Suggestions on Improvementsby three students of Class 101 of Urban Planning in our colelge, Zhang Xiangfei, Zhang Senzhou and Chen Yao, under the guidance of two advisors, Wang Yuan and Wang Juan, was awarded with the second prize in the 13^th“Challenge Cup” College Student Academic Works Contest. Totally 1300 works from 65 universities and colleges were presented, with fierce competition.

However, due to some reasons, the “Challenge Cup” Contestwas always the weak point for our school. The advisors and the students conducted wide ranges of investigation and tried their best for the contest. After stages such as preliminary contestand the final of the university, student training and work improving, the works stood out in the university-level college student academic works contestfor the first time. Finally, 3 works were selected to participate in the provincial “Challenge Cup” Contest, and one of them was selected into the final, and was awarded with the second prize in the provincial contest.
