Experts from Our University’s Belarus Research Center Contributed to the Construction of China-Belarus Traditional Chinese Medicine Center, Drawing a New Blueprint for International Cooperation

Recently, the Seminar for the Construction of China-Belarus Traditional Chinese Medicine Center (hereinafter referred to as the China-Belarus TCM Center) was successfully held in Hangzhou. The meeting brought together numerous authoritative experts and scholars to jointly map out the development path and vision for the China-Belarus TCM Center.

Experts from our university, including Bei Wenli, Director of the Belarus Research Center, and visiting professors Hu Zheng and Wang Xianju, attended at the invitation. Other distinguished attendees also included Zhao Huirong, Executive Deputy Director of the China-Belarus Development Analysis Center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Han Lu, Deputy Director of the Eurasia Institute at the China Institute of International Studies.

During the meeting, the experts from the China-Belarus TCM Center delivered a comprehensive report covering its background, achievements, and future plans. The center is committed to establishing a benchmark program for overseas cooperation on traditional Chinese medicine by creating an integrated platform that combines clinical services, cultural promotion, talent cultivation, and scientific research innovation, to better serve public health and deepen cultural and medical exchanges between China and Belarus.

Drawing on their years of expertise in Belarusian studies, our university’s team of experts put forward insightful suggestions on key issues, including how to precisely align the center’s efforts with local needs in Belarus, innovate methods for promoting the culture of traditional Chinese medicine in the region, and establish a sustainable talent development system. Their profound insights were highly recognized by the attendees.

The in-depth discussions at the seminar not only laid out a blueprint for future collaboration between our university’s Belarus Research Center and the China-Belarus TCM Center but also signaled the beginning of a new chapter in their cooperation.
