On the morning of November 8, 2025, the 10th China Tea Olympics “Youth Voice for Chinese Tea” and the inaugural National Youth Tea Culture Speech Contest were grandly held in Longwu Tea Town, Hangzhou. With the theme “Telling the Story of Chinese Tea to the World, Starting from the Youth”, the event was organized by the First Faculty Party Branch of the School of Economics and Management, in collaboration with the university’s Trade Union, the School of Economics and Management, and the School of International Tea Culture. It attracted 56 young participants from across the country.

The “Youth Voice for Chinese Tea” is a newly established program of this year’s Tea Olympics, aiming to further promote tea culture among the younger generation. The contest was divided into two parallel categories: the University Group and the Social Group. After intense competition, multiple awards were presented, and all winners were included in the “Youth Promotion Talent Reserve for Chinese Tea Culture”.

Students majoring in Tea Culture and Trade from our university actively participated in the event, gaining invaluable experience from the initial planning stages to on-site services. Professor Zhang Xinghai, a leading expert in the National Secretary Workshop, emphasized that the contest has established a closed-loop ecosystem of “promoting learning and teaching through competition”. The story of tea remains ever-renewing through the vitality of youth, and Zhejiang Shuren University will continue to explore ways to infuse the Chinese tea industry with the enduring strength of Shuren.
