Recently, the 2025 National Undergraduate Engineering Practice and Innovation Ability Competition—recognized as a national Category A discipline-based competition—concluded successfully. Zhejiang Shuren University delivered an outstanding performance in this year’s competition, winning one National Grand Prize, one National Second Prize, and two Provincial First Prizes. These achievements fully demonstrate the University’s strong foundation and remarkable accomplishments in engineering practice and innovation education.

The competition, held in Dalian from August 5 to 10, brought together 1,135 teams and nearly 5,000 students from 417 universities across 33 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Featuring three tracks and seven contest categories, the event emphasized interdisciplinary knowledge integration and practical application. It aimed to cultivate students’ abilities in engineering innovation and collaborative practice, while nurturing outstanding engineering talent to serve the nation’s manufacturing sector and high-quality development.

The Zhejiang Shuren University participating teams stood out in the competition with their solid professional knowledge, exceptional teamwork, and innovative thinking. From countless late-night repeated technical simulations in brightly lit laboratories to their composure and adaptability under the blazing sun of the competition arena, Shuren students ultimately shone on the national stage.
