On April 15, 2025, ShanghaiRanking, a professional higher education evaluation agency, officially released the “2025 ShanghaiRanking’s Best Chinese Universities.” Our university topped the main list of private universities. (The final ranking covered a total of 1,078 universities, including 839 public universities, 231 private universities, and 8 Chinese-foreign cooperative institutions or those jointly run by the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan.) The ranking attracted extensive media and platform coverage.

According to statistics, the total number of online references to Zhejiang Shuren University in relation to the ShanghaiRanking’s Best Chinese Universities exceeded 20,000, with nearly 6,000 comments. A total of 233 news media outlets published 1,798 related reports. Among them, seven central-level media outlets released 100 reports, including People’s Daily Online, China Education News Network, China Youth Daily, China National Radio, and China Education Daily. Additionally, 225 local media outlets published 1,675 reports, including Youth Zhejiang, The Paper, Xiaoxiang Morning Herald, Shanghai Observer, Hangzhou TV, and Jilin Daily.
