On the morning of November 27, a group of five guests visited the Yangxunqiao Campus of our university for research,including Chen Yongqin, Dean of the Muse College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and professor of the School of Humanities and Social Science of this university. President Li Lu, Wang Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, as well as relevant leaders from the Office of the Party Committee, the President’s Office, the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, the Office of Student Development and Service, the Youth League Committee of the university, the School of Management (Shangde College), the School of Urban Construction (Chenyang College), the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages (Mingzhe College), the School of Economics and Social Welfare (Qingmao College), and the School of Art (Haomo College) attended the meeting.

At the meeting, President Li Lu, on behalf of the university, extended a warm welcome to Dean Chen Yongqin and other visitors. He said that there were many similarities between the college system of our university and that of the Muse College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), in terms of general education and talent training through the college system. He hoped that both universities would further strengthen communication and exchanges to promote mutual learning and improvement.
Subsequently, Deputy Secretary Wang Jun briefly introduced the university's development history and distinctive features, highlighting the unique strengths, experiences, and achievements in student affairs, as well as the distinctive outcomes of the college system in educating talents. He expressed that the university would further implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, actively deepen the reform of the college system, strengthen the construction of college culture, continuously explore and innovate the educational model of the college system, strive to cultivate more high-level applied talents, and accelerate the development of a high-level applied comprehensive university with distinctive features.
In his speech, Dean Chen Yongqin expressed gratitude for our university's warm reception and highly appreciated the development achievements made by our university in various aspects in recent years. He believed that the college system of our university was distinctive and culturally enriched, capable of fully leveraging its academic advantages and actively mobilizing students’ enthusiasm and initiative to participate in the construction of the college system. The student management model under the college system has achieved remarkable results. He briefly introduced the development history and distinctive advantages of the college system of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a focus on the unique educational philosophy, student education, and culture of the Muse College. He expressed his hope that both universities could strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the future, promoting mutual learning, complementary advantages, and common development.
During the meeting, both parties had in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as the college system's educational model, student management and education, and student mental health education. After the meeting, both parties exchanged gifts and took a group photo to mark the occasion.




Before the meeting, Dean Chen Yongqin and other visitors, accompanied by Deputy Secretary Wang Jun, visited the Shuren Home and Mingzhe College on the Yangxunqiao campus, and listened to the brief introduction to the construction of the Yangxunqiao campus, the educational model of the college system, and the “one-stop” student community.



Through this research and exchange activity, our university has established a communication bridge with the Muse College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), providing a good platform for mutual learning, innovating the educational model of the college system, and promoting high-quality education development between both universities.
