After winning the gold medal in the Zhejiang Challenge Cup Competition and the special prize in the National College Students’ Creativity and Innovation Competition, teachers and students of the School of Economics and Social Welfare continued to make persistent efforts in the recently concluded Zhejiang Convention and Exhibition Planning Creativity Competition, Zhejiang Securities Investment Competition, and Zhejiang College Students’ Financial Innovation Competition. Nine teams won first prizes and a total of 31 awards.

On November 16, the list of winners of the 14th Zhejiang Convention and Exhibition Planning Creativity Competition was officially announced. The competition attracted 1,616 teams from 116 universities across the province. The students of Zhejiang Shuren University were like shining stars, performed excellently in the fierce competition with their outstanding talents, innovative thinking and unremitting efforts, and successfully won 5 first prizes, 7 second prizes and 5 third prizes of the province. The award records reached a new high and they made outstanding contributions to the award-winning history of our university.

On the same day, the finals of the 10th Zhejiang College Students’ Securities Investment Competition were successfully completed at Hangzhou Normal University. There were 1,312 teams from 78 colleges and universities across the province participating in the competition. After the preliminary, semi-final and final rounds, a total of 550 winning teams were selected. Among them, Zhejiang Shuren University won 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 3 third prizes, as well as 1 second prize and 2 third prizes in the individual competition.

On November 24, the final of the 9th Zhejiang College Students’ Financial Innovation Competition was held at Zhejiang Finance Vocational College. A total of 722 teams from 55 colleges and universities across the province participated in the competition. After a whole day of competition, Zhejiang Shuren University won 2 gold awards, 2 silver awards, and 1 bronze award, which was also the first time for our students to win gold medals in this competition.
