Vice President Ye Shiping Led a Team to Uzbekistan to Attend the Central Asia Education Forum
From October 14th to 18th, 2024, Vice President Ye Shiping led a team to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to attend the Central Asia Education Forum (CAEF) on “Shaping the Future: Advancing Higher Education in Central Asia”, which was a large-scale forum on the education of Central Asia co-organized by Times Higher Education and the New Uzbekistan University.
At the seminar, many experts and scholars held round-table discussions and gave keynote speeches on topics such as the enhancement of the global influence of the universities in Central Asia, how the universities of Central Asia get out of difficulties, how young universities attract people, the consistency of curriculum and labor market needs, World University Impact Ranking and World University Ranking.
During the forum, Vice President Ye Shiping and other team members carried out a wide range of academic exchanges around the theme of the forum, visited sister colleges and universities, reached a series of cooperation intentions, and successfully completed the mission of the visit and made certain achievements.
