On the evening of October 24th, 2024, the Concert of “Passing Down Ancient Rhythm and Integrating Ancient Music Score: A Creative Journey Originated from Dunhuang” was held in Li Changsheng Auditorium on Yangshunqiao Campus. The performers of the concert, integrating with ancient rhythms and ancient music scores, used music to “travel” through thousands of years and art to “transmit” the sound of cultural relics, bringing teachers and students an audio-visual feast of cultural relics and history.
After the performance, President Li Lu presented the Letter of Appointment of Honorary Professorship in Music Education to Ms. Kee Man Fung, Founder and Honorary Director of the Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble, and also expressed his gratitude again for tonight’s performance. Ms. Kee Man Fung also expressed her gratitude to President Li for the invitation, the teachers and students of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music as well as the teachers and students of Shuren for their support, and looked forward to more and more young people joining the team of cultural guardians.
