The 10th International Human Microbiome Consortium (IHMC) Congress was grandly held in Rome, Italy, from June 21 to 25, 2024. The congress attracted leading scholars and researchers in the field of microecology from all over the world to discuss the latest research findings, technological advancements, challenges, and future directions in human microecology. Professor Gao Hainü, Director of our university’s Provincial Key Laboratory of Artificial Organs and Computational Medicine, presented two liver disease microbiome research achievements at the IHMC. Associate Professor Ye Xuewei gave a poster presentation titled “The Key of PO to Alleviate the Symptoms of Diabetes with Liver Disease: Gut Microbiota.”
