Faculty and Students from the International Education Institute Gather at Yue Lake to discuss Growth and Future Prospects Together

To further promote interaction among faculty and students, and enhance the management of international student education, the International Education Institute successfully held a symposium on June 4. Leaders of the institute and members of the international student education management service team participated alongside faculty and students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Dean Zhao Beibei announced the scholarship recipients, while Dean Dong Yifen presented honorary certificates to the awardees. Subsequently, the meeting covered safety education, addressing issues such as safety concerns, legal education, classroom discipline, and telecommunications fraud. The institute emphasized the rules and regulations that international students should adhere to in their daily lives and studies, reminding them to prioritize personal safety and guard against risks such as telecommunications fraud. Additionally, international students filled out vacation destination forms to allow the institute to monitor their travel plans and safety conditions.

During the discussion session, Dean Dong Yifen expressed heartfelt words to the international students present. She said, “Firstly, welcome to Zhejiang Shuren University. Secondly, I hope you will have a fulfilling and enjoyable learning experience here at Shuren. Thirdly, China has a rich cultural history, and by coming here, we are here to learn about Chinese culture. Let’s learn Chinese culture together, and I hope that we can all become outstanding learners, practitioners, and promoters of Chinese culture.” Dean Dong Yifen’s message not only extends a warm welcome and encouragement to international students but also conveys her heartfelt wishes and expectations for their wonderful learning and living experiences in China.
