The year 2021 is the first year of the university's entry into the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the 20th anniversary of Shuren University Journal. Under the guidance of the university's strategy of "realizing quality improvement and upgradation by focusing on discipline construction”, under the leadership of the editor in chief and deputy editor, and with the support of the teachers and students of the whole university, the journal of our university has undergone great changes, and certain achievements have been achieved.

According to the 2021 Annual Report on the Impact Factors of Chinese Academic Journals published by China National Knowledge Infrastructure, the impact factor of our university’s journal remained at a high level in recent years, ranking top five among non-core journals in the province.

In May 2021, the Third Session of the Second Symposium on the Work of National Journals of  Non-governmental Colleges and Universities and the Forum for the 20^th Anniversary of Zhejiang Shuren University Journal were held successfully. On the forum, experts and scholars put forward opinions and suggestions for the upgradation of the journal. And at the same time, by listening to the opinions of the editorial board of the journal, the editorial office of the journal drafted the Implementation Measures for Quality Improvement and Upgradation of the Journal of Zhejiang Shuren University, and put forward many measures to improve the quality and level of the journal. The Measures are about to be implemented. It is hoped that driven by the implementation measures and with the support of teachers and students of the university, the journal is being developed steadily on a benign track, in order to realize the plan of becoming the core journal proposed by our university as soon as possible.
