The Enjoy-Elderly Service Seminar for the development of the service economy was held in Hangzhou by Zhejiang Modern Service Industry Research Centreand Modern Service Industry School of Zhejiang Shuren University in the morning of January 9.

Liu Shuzhi - a member of The Standing Committee of the Provincial CPPCC and the Director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee, Shang Qing - a member of The Provincial CPPCC and Chairman of Zhejiang Association for the Promotion of Civil Affairs, Li Lu - a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPPCC, President of Zhejiang Shuren University and Director of Zhejiang Modern Service Industry Research Centre, Wang Jun - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Shuren University, Wu Wei - Doctor of China Academy of Sciences and Education Strategy of Zhejiang University, an Associate Researcher and Director of Scientific Research, along with various other leaders and guests, attended the meeting. In addition, experts, scholars and guests from Zhejiang Ministry of Civil Affairs, Zhejiang Shuren University and Shan Yu Hai Group’s Elderly Service Department attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Zhu Hongying - Dean of The Modern Service Industry - Themed School of Zhejiang Shuren University and Executive Director of Zhejiang’s Modern Service Industry Research Centre.

With the theme of ‘promoting transformation of the modern service industry aiming at the ageing society and providing adequate care for people of all ages’. The meeting focused on the population-ageing and the social-economic development model, by means of expert reports and seminars, to share research achievements and experience and provide new ideas and measures for accelerating the transformation of the modern service industry to the ageing society, and inject new vitality and power, assisting senior citizens to enjoy elderly life.
