In order to fulfil the suggestion of the document Guidance for Construction of Modern Industry Schools (trial)(JGTH [2020] No. 16) by The General Office of The Ministry of EducationandThe General Office of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that promotes the overall standard for constructing modern industry schools within The Alliance. The Meeting forThe Construction of the Modern School Industry in the Yangtze River Delta Applied Research Alliancewas held in our university on January 23. Over 30 representatives from universities and colleges within the Alliance, from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang etc. attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Chen Xinmin, our university’s Vice-President.
Firstly, Ye Shiping, Shuren’s Vice-President, summarised a report regarding the construction of the school industry. The report summarised the experiences of the university’s success in promoting the construction of an application-oriented pilot model university, by taking industry-themed schools as the tipping point, and introduced constructive ideas, measures and the effects of the industry-themed schools in detail.The participants paid great attention to the various construction achievements of the industry-themed school construction modeThree-Chain Connection and Six-Dimension Coordination.
As a researcher, Chen Xinmin shared the results and exchanged experiences of the team's industry-themed school research over the past decade: showing the team's rich accumulation of industry-themed school project research; result publication and application promotion; and spoke about the experience of institutional research, etc., which was resonated by the guests.
