Professor Yan Hong, Dean of the School of Economics and Management at our university, was invited to attend and deliver a thematic speech on “Reshaping International Supply Chain Resilience Against the Backdrop of Evolving Geopolitical Dynamics”.
The forum brought together distinguished guests, including Nobel Laureates, Fields Medalists, and renowned academicians and scholars from both domestic and international institutions. In his address, John Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, emphasized that Hong Kong is fully committed to promoting “AI industrialization and industrial AI-ization” and leveraging the platform of the International Academicians Alliance to pool global scientific research resources.
In the speech, Professor Yan Hong proposed giving full play to the advantages of digital platforms to build an intelligent dispatching system covering the entire supply chain, breaking down information barriers, and enhancing the risk resistance and recovery resilience of supply chains. His views received high acclaim from experts attending the forum, including Academician Chen Qingquan, who commented that the ideas provided significant reference value for improving supply chain resilience and logistics intelligence.
