On May 20, 2016, Yan Xin, a professor in the Department of Statistics & Data Science of University of Central Florida in the United States, presented an academic report entitled "Statistical Application - Sampling Methods of Medical Data" at Zhejiang Shuren University.

More than 80 people listened to the report, including mathematics teachers of the Department of Basic, teachers and students in pharmacy direction in the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering, and members of the Mathematical Modeling Society.
