On May 16, 2017, Dr. Kirsten Angermann of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in Germany, Member of European Architectural History Network (EAHN), Bauhaus Institute of Architecture and Planning History and Theory in Germany, and Associate Professor of Architectural Heritage Protection, China Academy of Art, gave a lecture entitled "Tour Speech on Cultural Heritage Protection in Zhejiang University - Practice of Cultural Heritage Project and Higher Education in Germany" at Zhejiang Shuren University.

The lecture focused on the theme of cultural heritage protection, explaining the importance of heritage protection, the future professions of heritage protection major, the current teaching situation of German universities and the promotion and development of German heritage protection in the world.

The lecture aroused the strong interest of the teachers and students in the protection of cultural heritage, and provided the direction and motivation for their future work and research.
