From May 6 to 21, 2017, Sergey Ablameyko, Academician of Academia Europaea, Academician of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences and Principal of the Belarusian State University, visited Zhejiang Shuren University to implement the 2017 national high-end foreign expert project "Object-oriented High-resolution Remote Sensing Image Information Extraction Study", which is a cooperation between the two schools.

On May 19, Academician Sergey Ablameyko attended the 2th China-Belarus International Youth Forum jointly organized by Zhejiang Shuren University, Belarusian State University and Shaoxing Municipal People's Government and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. At the same time, as an expert, he delivered a keynote report entitled "Information technology and systems customized for hospital management and cancer diagnosis".

During the visit, Sergey Ablameyko was met by Cheng Yuechong, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, and Xu Guolong, Vice Mayor of Shaoxing, and visited the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, visited and inspected Zhejiang EarthView Geographic Information Technology Co., Ltd., Jinkeqiao District Science and Technology Park, and Kuaijishan Shaoxing Rice Wine Co., Ltd.
