From April 24 to 28, 2017, Ye Shiping, Vice Principal of Zhejiang Shuren University, led a five-member delegation from Zhejiang Shuren University to visit University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka.

Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Executive Vice Principal of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, met with the delegation. The Deans of the Faculty of Business Management, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Technology and the Faculty of Engineering of the university attended the meeting.

The two sides discussed the issues of teaching and academic cooperation, teacher training, teacher exchange, student exchange, and the co-construction of Confucius Institute, and reached a number of cooperative intentions.
