On April 19, 2017, Petra Polláková, Ph.D., Faculty of Art History, Univerzita Karlova v Praze in Czech Republic, and planner of Asian and African Art Collection of Narodni galerie v Praze, visited Zhejiang Shuren University and gave a lecture for teachers and students of the School of Art entitled "Czech art after 1948 and Chinese inspiration".

On April 27, Czech artists Petr Pisarik and Karel Strdry gave keynote addresses on geometric art at Zhejiang Shuren University.

The three artists also discussed and interacted with the teachers and students of the School of Art of Zhejiang Shuren University.
