The School of Biology and Environmental Engineering Achieved a New Record in the 13th Zhejiang Chemical Competition of the Undergraduates

The students of the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering won 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, and 1 third prize in the 13th Zhejiang Chemical Competition of the Undergraduates, and achieved a new record in the Competition.

Zhejiang Chemical Competition of the Undergraduates is a provincial A-level discipline competition. This competition is co-sponsored by the Zhejiang College Students Technology Contest Committee, the Zhejiang Teaching Steering Committee of Chemistry and Chemical Pharmacy Majors in Higher Education, the Zhejiang University Chemistry Course Teaching Steering Committee, and the Zhejiang Chemical Society. The theme of this year's chemical competition is "Green Chemistry, Smart Future".

More than 200 students from our university participated in the preliminary competition, and 10 teams were selected to participate in the 13th Zhejiang Chemical Competition of the Undergraduates on behalf of our university.

In the final defense, the contestants were calm and performed well, showing professional knowledge of chemistry, innovative thinking, and problem-solving ability. In the end, the students of Shuren University achieved a new record in the 13th Zhejiang Chemical Competition of the Undergraduates. And a total of 5 teams won provincial-level awards, in which, 4 teams were shortlisted for the final and won 2 first prizes and 2 second prizes respectively, and 1 team won the third prize after experts online assessment.
