The Teaching and Research Office of “Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Basic Law Education” now has 16 lecturers, mainly undertaking the teaching of the course “Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Basic Law Education” for freshman of the university. This teaching and research office is composed of young teachers, has a reasonable structure, and is equipped with sufficient teachers to meet the teaching and research needs of the course. All full-time and part-time teachers in the teaching and research office cooperate and work together, rigorously conduct academic studies, and can continuously explore new teaching methods. Title structure: 2 professors, 2 associate professors, and 2 lecturers. Age structure: 2 teachers over 50 years old, 4 teachers about 40-50 years old, and 10 about 30-40 years old. All the teachers have been engaged in ideological and political education for an average of 13 years. They have a solid theoretical foundation and rich classroom teaching experience, and are well qualified for the teaching tasks of this course.

Academic structure:The lecturers graduated from Zhejiang University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Kiel University in Germany and other well-known universities at home and abroad. The faculty is composed of diversified academic backgrounds and can adapt to the rich and diverse characteristics and requirements of disciplines of comprehensive universities. There are 6 teachers in this teaching and research office, including 3 doctors (including doctoral candidates) and 5 masters. The lecturers graduated from well-known universities such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Nanjing Normal University. All teachers in the teaching and research office have profound and a wide range of knowledge in humanities and social sciences. They are a team of teachers with good quality, reasonable structure, vitality, unity and friendship, which can meet the teaching and research needs of cultivating applied and compound talents.

The office of "Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism" currently has 14 teachers, including 2 with senior professional titles, 4 with deputy senior titles, 7 lecturers and 1 teaching assistant; 6 doctors and 7 masters. As their studies suited to the courses, the team owns reasonable age structure, title structure and academic background structure, as well as relatively high educational level.

The teaching and research office of the “Outline of Modern and Contemporary History of China” currently has 8 lecturers, including 1 teacher with a senior professional title, 3 doctors, and 5 masters. Their studies and expertise cover modern Chinese history, the localization of Marxism in China, higher education, and international relations. The academic echelon, the knowledge structure, academic structure, title structure and age structure are reasonable, with wide source of the academic structure. This is a team that owns the solid foundation of professional knowledge, rich teaching experiences, and is innovative, enterprising and energetic.

In recent years, the teaching and research office has continuously deepened teaching reform, vigorously strengthened the basic curriculum construction of the "Outline of Modern and Contemporary History of China", opened the course of "Modern Chinese Historical Figures", and actively carried out teaching reform practices and academic research activities, and achieved certain results. Since 2014, teachers in this office have participated in 3 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research programs, presided over 2 department-level programs and 2 college-level education reform programs, and published nearly 20 core papers in journals such asSeekerandLantai World.
