On May 18, 2019, the "Modern Medical Education Summit Forum" sponsoredby ouruniversitywas held. Wang Yuanjing,thedeputy director general of the Third Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 6 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, andmore than 200 experts and scholars from famous universitiesin China and at abroad, includingPeking University, Hong Kong University, Macau University of Science and Technology,Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai University, Shandong First Medical University, Anhui Medical University, BelarusianStateUniversity, and University Medical Center of Princetoninthe United States, attended theforum.The academicians Zhan Qimin and Yang Baofeng, Prof. NG Patil, the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Macau University of Science and Technology and the academician of Hong Kong College of Surgeons, and Professor Kenneth H. Goldblatt of University Medical Center of Princeton, respectively made keynote lectures with the themes of the "Opportunities, Challenges and Development Thinking for the Development of Modern Medical Education", "Inspirations from International Medical Education", "What Makes a Good Medical School", and "An Overview of Medical Education in the United States". The experts and scholars from well-known medical colleges in China and at abroad exchanged opinions and discussed by centering on the "Future of Chinese Medical Education: Challenges and Prospects".
