In order to thoroughly implement the Opinions on Strengthening the Development of the Schools of Marxism in the New Era (referred to as the "Opinions") by the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and effectively promote the development of the School of Marxism of Zhejiang Shuren University to a new level during the 14th Five-Year Plan, on the afternoon of October 12, the Summit Forum on "Strengthening the Development of the Schools of Marxism in the New Era" was successfully held by the School of Marxism of our university on the Yangxunqiao Campus of Shuren University. Almost 30 leaders and teachers attended this forum, including Chen Lei, Director of the Office of Publicity and Education of the Education Department of Zhejiang Province, Lv Youzhi, Former Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism of Zhejiang University, Wang Laifa, President of the Teaching and Research Association of Basic Principles of Marxism for Colleges and Universities of Zhejiang Province, Xing Leqing, Secretary General of the Education Research Association of Marxist Theories for Colleges and Universities of Zhejiang Province, Yang Hua, Dean of the Institute of Marxism of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, Wang Haiwen, Dean of the School of Marxism of Hangzhou Dianzi University, He Wuhua, Dean of the School of Marxism of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Li Mengyun, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism Studies of Zhejiang Gongshang University, Xiao Xianglong, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and Zhang Qing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shuren University, Song Bin, Director of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee and backbone teachers from the School of Marxism of our university. This forum was presided over by Zhou Guangxun, Dean of the School of Marxism of Shuren University.

Zhang Qing emphasized that the university always attached great importance to the development of the School of Marxism, and developed a working mechanism of the School of Marxism under the direct leadership of the Party Committee of the university.

And then, the leaders, experts and scholars attending the forum discussed the Opinions in combination with the actual situations of the construction and development of the School of Marxism in Zhejiang province from various aspects such as discipline construction, curricula construction and team construction.
