The School of Biology and Environmental Engineering and the School of Information Science and Technology Participated in a Special Training on German ASIIN Accreditation

To strengthen the international construction of the programs, at 16:30 on November 16, the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering and the School of Information Science and Technology jointly participated in a special tutorial lecture on German ASIIN accreditation (held on Tencent Meeting) in Room 426 of the Zha Jiming Building. The lecture was co-organized by the European Center for Research and Consulting Services in Higher Education Accreditation and the Secretariat of the Sino-German Industry-University-Research-Application Innovation Alliance. Han Chao, Deputy Dean of the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering, and Zhang Denghui, Deputy Director of the School of Information Science and Technology, attended the lecture. Additionally, participants in the training included the leaders and teachers of the Food Science Department of the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering and the Computer Science and Engineering and the Engineering of Internet of Things of the School of Information Science and Technology.

This lecture was held to mainly analyze the key points and difficulties in the self-assessment report for ASIIN accreditation, and to discuss potential issues faced by institutions nationwide during the accreditation process.

For a long time, the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering and the School of Information have adhered to the concept of open education and actively organized international exchange activities. Participating in the German ASIIN accreditation is another significant step taken by the schools towards the internationalization of their programs. This lecture has accelerated the pace of international accreditation for the programs, which is not only conducive to gaining a deeper understanding of international educational philosophies but also helpful for drawing on the strengths of others, thereby promoting further development of the programs in both schools.
