Recently, according to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education onthe List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majorsin 2021 (JGTH[2022] No. 14), the major of computer science and technology of Zhejiang Shuren University has been selected as the national first-class undergraduate program. This is the first national first-class undergraduate program of our university, and a significant breakthrough in the development of undergraduate programs of our university.

It is learned that since April 2019, the Ministry of Education has implemented the "Double 10,000 Plan" for the establishment of first-class undergraduate programs, and would establish about 10,000 national first-class undergraduate majors and about 10,000 provincial first-class undergraduate programs from 2019 to 2021.

The major of computer science and technology will seizethis opportunity and give full play to the demonstration leading role of first-class undergraduate program and continuously improve the connotation and discipline development level of the program, and meanwhile, will promote the high-quality development of the major through the certification of engineering education and the new round of undergraduate education and teaching review and assessment, and form a quality culture with the core of improving the level of talent training, and promote the continuous development and progress of first-class undergraduate talent training system.
